Kalin & Brady

Kalin Ellis is from Gaffney, South Carolina and is 16 years old. She attends Gaffney High School where she is a junior. She has been shag dancing with her first cousin, Brady, for seven years. Since she was three, Kalin has had experience in tap, jazz, clogging, and ballet, and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She is very excited to be on the team for her second time, and can’t to see what this year’s team does!

Brady Ellis is 19 years old and lives in Gaffney, SC. He graduated from Gaffney High School in 2009. His first shag contest he saw was at Dockers in Greenville in 2002. He began shag dancing in 2003 at Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC.. He has been dancing with his partner/cousin for 7 years. He is going to school to become a Marine Biologist and is transferring to Coastal Carolina in Myrtle beach this fall. He is the smart, but goofy one of the bunch, always making each practice fun and energetic. He would like to thank his Mom and Dad for everything they have done to make competitive shag dancing possible.  If it weren’t for them, being a part of this team would not be possible!
