Chase & Cody

Chase Forrester is fifteen years old and a freshman at Emerald High School in Greenwood, South Carolina.  She has been dancing since she was three years old and picked up the shag dance when she was seven at Jr. SOS.  Being involved in the Shag has given her some of the best experiences of her life.  She has met so many people from all over the United States.  Many she knows will be lifelong friends.  The Team, Southern Fried with Junior Pride, gave her the opportunity to travel all over the United States and introduced her to the West Coast Swing.  Her hobbies are music composition, dance and choreography, and the guitar.

Cody Edwards began shagging back in 2006 when my Grandparents took his brother and him to Junior SOS for the first time. He met some very nice people, made some great friends, and learned the SHAG.  For the next 6 months or so, He went to several contests and events to learn more Shag steps from other Juniors and competitive dancers.  Then he met Chase Forrester, whom he competed with, and still do, in numerous competitions.  He was on Southern Fried With Junior Pride last year and is back to keep the undefeated streak going and spread the Shag.
